Kiss with Parineeti to create problem for Sushant-Ankita's love life

Sushant Singh Rajput is apparently nervous about having locked lips with co-star Parineeti Chopra in their next film without his girlfriend Ankita Lokhande's knowledge.

The much-married Shah Rukh Khan has done it and so has Aamir. Insiders say Sushant Singh Rajput, who is in a relationship with Ankita Lokhande, apparently shares a kiss with his co-star Parineeti Chopra in their next film.

But the actor apparently is very nervous since his girlfriend has no knowledge about her beau's lip-lock scene.

A source says, 'It's Sushant's second film and his first on-screen kiss. But unfortunately for him, he had not informed Ankita about it. The trailers have gone on air and he fears his girlfriend will come to know about it now.'

We don't know how Ankita will react but we hope she can get rid of her insecurities if any. Both Sushant and Ankita remained unavailable for comment.

Shortage of actresses in B-Town

Filmmakers feel presently there is an acute shortage of female leads in the industry with most of them facing casting woes or having to wait for months for their dates.

Almost every beauty pageant participant aspires to be an actress as soon as she is crowned. Small screen names hope to step on to the big screen while models are keen to trade in their catwalks for the celluloid. Add to this the plethora of girls who harbour dreams of lighting up the marquee. The girls may be willing and able but are they capable?

Shraddha Kapoor is seeking mileage from buzz about refusing offers.

Most filmmakers feel there is a shortage of girls in the industry. Recently when filmmakers like Imtiaz Ali, Vikramaditya Motwane, Rohan Sippy and Vipul Shah among others had got together at the Mid-day office to discuss things they wished were a part of the industry, Motwane had quipped, `There's a real shortage of girls in the industry today.'

To which Imtiaz had added, 'Every time, one of us starts making a movie, we begin to look for girls who can act and you inevitably see that there's really nobody. While Sippy opined, 'Nowadays the secretaries /managers of the actress make them models - not actresses.

Asin only wants to work with the leading stars

Earlier, they were instinctive and knew what they are here for. Modelling agencies are now thinking that it's a similar thing to do when it clearly isn't. Yes, it's not easy to find actresses nowadays.'

Shah had added, `Unfortunately, the Indian mindset is that shaadi ho gayi toh buddhi ho gayi. A married actress can't take up so many projects. In fact, you see how our actresses don't get married till they are 35 or 37 because they believe in this perception, as there is a shift in audiences' love for them. They might be mature but the perception changes already.'

Diana Penty is in no hurry to sign her second film

Also, with some actresses preferring to be visible and raking in the moolah through event appearances and brand endorsements, they are in no hurry to continue doing any film. A Shraddha Kapoor may be infamous for rejecting roles while a Diana Penty is in no hurry to do a second film.

Nargis Fakhri's effort goes in vain

An injured Nargis Fakhri had to rehearse for her dance number only to have it changed the next day. This seems to be a case of much ado about nothing. Nargis Fakhri spent an entire day with her leg in a bandage for a music track that was eventually struck off, after director Rajkumar Santoshi didn't approve of it. According to sources, Nargis had been suffering from a muscle pull.

A unit hand says, 'The actress rehearsed for her item number on Wednesday night as it had to be shot the next day. But Santoshi didn't like the song and it was dropped the next day.'

Apparently, Nargis had to do her act all over again on Thursday night and it was filmed on Friday.

DON’T COMPARE ME WITH SUNNY LEONE: POONAM PANDEY

Controversy queen Poonam Pandey, ready for her Bollywood innings with bold project "Nasha", is fed up of being compared to Indo -Canadian porn star Sunny Leone.

"I am tired of this comparison. I don't know why people compare me with Sunny Leone. I'm here to act and you will see me acting in the film. There are intimate scenes in the film, but there is also a love story. I'm not a porn star. Please don't compare me with Sunny Leone," Poonam said here.

Poonam, who grabbed headlines during the 2011 Cricket World Cup when she offered to go nude before Team India if they won the trophy, is confident that audiences will be satisfied with her performance in "Nasha".

"So far people have only seen my bold pictures, now they will see me acting in 'Nasha', and I assure they will be completely satisfied with my performance in the film," added the young actress, who keeps her fans abreast with her daily activities through online networking platforms.

Directed by Amit Saxena, "Nasha" features debutant Shivam opposite Poonam Pandey. The film is produced by Surender Suneja and Aditya Bhatia under the banner of Eagle Home Entertainment. The film is slated for release July 26.

After SRK-Sallu, now Cold war end with Bebo and Priyanka Chopra

Big Patch-up 2: After SRK-Sallu, now Bebo and PC end war!

Apparently, Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra, who were shooting in the same suburban studio met each other and had a long chat. After Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan's recent attempt at rapprochement, camaraderie is in the air in B Town. Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra are apparently the latest addition to the list of those mending fences.

On Monday, the actresses were shooting in the same suburban studio next to each other. While Bebo was filming a commercial, PC was shooting for her Mary Kom bio pic.

Says an onlooker, 'They were aware about each other's presence in the vicinity. Unit hands were on tenterhooks on what would happen if their paths crossed considering the cold vibes Bebo and PC share.'

Throughout the day, the stars were busy with their shoots. Adds the source, 'Late evening however when Kareena had wrapped up her shoot and was walking towards her car which was close to PC's vanity van, the latter went up to her and greeted her. Bebo was cordial and they chatted for a while.'

Interestingly, Kareena and PC were once best of friends and used to hang out together with their then respective beaus Shahid Kapoor and Harman Baweja. But things became awkward between them when Shahid and Priyanka were rumoured to be dating. Kareena along with her sister Karisma had also attended the condolence meeting for Priyanka's dad last month.

Physical trainer Samir Jaura is busy working with actress Rani Mukerji for her look in " Mardaani". He says she needs to reduce 12 to 13 kg for her role in the movie.

"I'm training Rani for 'Mardaani' and she will be losing around 12 to 13 kg for the film. We started training two weeks back and she has already lost 3 kg," Jaura told IANS.

Hrithik Roshan contributes Rs 25 lakhs to Aamir Khan's initiative

Hrithik Roshan contributes to Aamir Khan's initiative of collecting funds for Uttarakhand flood victims and also believes in talking about his charities.

When Aamir initiated a drive for collecting funds for the flood victims of Uttarakhand, the industry joined in to show its support. He started off with his own donation of Rs. 25 lakh and sources say that Hrithik has also contributed the same amount.

When Hrithik got to know about Aamir's initiative, he immediately sent a cheque to Aamir.

Interestingly, Hrithik made sure that the cheque reached Aamir a day before he went in for his brain surgery. Since he couldn't go personally he sent his secretary, Ashok Vashodia, on the sets of Dhoom: 3 (where Aamir was shooting) with instructions to hand over the cheque only to Aamir and no one else.

When contacted, Hrithik confirms this news, saying, "One must do what one can to help others in need. It must become part of your belief system and must start at home. Also I believe one must talk about his charities. The old belief of 'self-glorification' giving and not talking about it does not serve the higher purpose of teaching people to give and propagating the idea. We must set examples so that others may follow. Among all the negatives in the world, the positives must not go unnoticed. My thanks to Aamir for initiating this effort!"

Shah Rukh Khan Name the new surrogate baby as AbRam

Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan announced on Tuesday that he and wife Gauri were parents of a baby boy born with a surrogate, putting to rest rumours swirling around the latest addition to the actor's family.

"Amidst all the noise that has been going around, the sweetest is the one made by our new-born baby, AbRam," Khan said in a statement.

"He was born prematurely by several months but has finally come home," the 47-year-old actor said.

Media reports in June said municipal officials in Mumbai were investigating allegations that the couple conducted a sex determination test on the foetus, which is illegal in India.

Despite laws banning tests to determine the sex of an unborn child, the killing of female foetuses is common in some regions of India where a preference for sons runs deep.

Khan did not comment on media reports till Tuesday.

"Just to put the record straight there was no sex determination for our child," he said in the statement. "The baby was born much before the speculations of ‘sex determination' and other ‘issues' pertaining to the same were being raised in the media by some organisations."

Khan, arguably Bollywood's biggest star, married Gauri in 1991. They have two other children - son Aryan (15) and daughter Suhana (13).

Khan, best known for his 1995 hit "Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge", is currently promoting his new film "Chennai Express" that opens in cinemas in August.

In 2011, actor Aamir Khan and his filmmaker wife Kiran Rao had a baby boy with a surrogate.

Hrithik Roshan Out Of Danger on brain surgery

Bollywood's Greek God Hrithik Roshan underwent a brain surgery on Sunday afternoon for a clot that he had between his skull and brain. The surgery has reportedly been a success and doctors claim that the superstar is out of danger now.

Hrithik had informed his fans about it on his Facebook page, by writing, “We all know that we create a life of joy using the power of our mind. I have had the privilege of creating wonders with this amazing gift given to us called the brain. Occasionally one must look within and realize its value. It gives us the power to see, hear, touch, smell and taste, it allows us to conquer fear and create courage to do things we never imagined. Maybe it's time for me to feel the power literally. I am going to go through brain surgery today and want you to know that I am going in with absolute power to recover fast. My thanks to all of you for using the power of your mind to contribute to my life. Love you all.”

A few hours before the surgery, the surprisingly cheerful actor wrote, “Minor brain surgery to remove blood clot (chronic subdural haematoma)'. Should be rock n rolling by evening! U guys have a great day too! Supersonic!!” Doctors say that the star had suffered an injury while performing a stunt sequence around two months back, but had not taken it seriously back then, leading to the clot.

Hrithik will be next seen playing the role of a masked super-hero in Krrish 3, which also stars Priyanka Chopra, Kangna Ranaut and Vivek Oberoi.

Another case against SalmanKhan for court proceedings through website

A social activist has filed a complaint in a local court seeking action against Bollywood actor Salman Khan for launching a website with information on the 2002 hit-and-run case involving him, alleging that it was contempt of court.

According to the complaint, the website, www.Salmankhanfiles.Com, was launched by the actor recently.

A Mumbai sessions court ruled last month that the actor must be tried for culpable homicide not amounting for murder in the case -- a serious charge under IPC which attracts 10 years' punishment in jail.

"When the case is underway and matter sub-judice, how can he use Internet to spread information about the proceedings?" activist Hemant Patil asked in his complaint filed yesterday, according to his lawyer Wajid Khan.

Patil claimed said that the Bandra police station refused to register a complaint against Salman in this regard and hence he decided to move the magistrate's court.

The complaint alleged that Salman is using a website to spread information about the court proceedings and inviting comments from the general public when his hit-and-run case and other cases are still subjudice.

This is also a violation of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, the complaint alleged.

Salman Khan’s Rumoured Girlfriend Already Married

Rumours about Salman Khan and his personal life has always been people’s favourite celeb gossip. Well this time it’s about Salman Khan’s rumoured girlfriend Iulia Ventur who accompanied Salman to Hyderabad where the actor is shooting for a new film.

A status check on Iulia Vantur was conducted which revealed some weird information about her. This might be a headache to Salman Khan. Iulia Vantur was dating Marius Moga, a Romanian Grammy-nominated musician some months back. It seems the couple was in some serious relationship. Really! Their agitated relationship regularly grabbed headlines and media attention.

Marius is a composer, producer and singer in Romania. Pop, R&B and Club music are his genre. Iulia’s rendezvous along with fame coloured her life after she started co-hosting the T.V. show Dansez Pentru Tine (Romanian edition of the popular show Dancing With The Stars). Guess what! a Facebook page of Marius declares them (Iulia and Marius) married.

Apart from Marius’s relationship status, a post or you can call it a picture has highlighted some suspicious facts. Too curious to know about the content in that picture? Well it’s a steamy picture of the duo lip-locking.

I guess that is enough for Salman Khan to engage in a brawl with Marius Moga. Isn’t it?

Birth report of SRK’s new baby obtained

After much speculation, BMC has confirmed the receipt of the birth report of a baby boy that was born on May 27, 2013, listing Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Shah Khan as his parents.

The arrival of SRK’s new baby put to rest rumours that have been blazing about the couple’s impending pregnancy with the help of a surrogate mother.

Born at 34 weeks, the little 1.5 kg baby was born at Masrani Hospital for Women in Andheri and later shifted to Nanavati Hospital, Juhu, and finally to Breach Candy Hospital. He is now at home with the Khans.

Earlier reports suggest that the surrogate mother hails from London, but no official details are known of her identity.

Following reports of a pre-natal sex determination test that was allegedly conducted by the Khans, a controversy soon surfaced. The use of sex-determination methods (gender determination) is forbidden according to the Indian Pre-Conception and Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques Act.

Equipped with a birth report, BMC officials will investigate the issue further with the help of hospital documentation since the child’s birth.

Review of Raanjhanaa (A Distinctive Take On Love!)

PROEM: It was an intensely hued picture which showed a young boy standing with a fascinated glance in his eyes & a pretty girl portraying the semblance of cheerfulness amidst the vibrant colors of pink, green, yellow & red; thereby recreating the festival of Holi in a rectangular first look poster of the latest production from Eros International & Colour Yellow Pictures Ltd, in the cinematic name of 'Raanjhanaa' !!

Colors always attract the cone cells of our eyes. Also I felt curious about the movie after knowing that it belongs to romantic genre.'Love' is probably the only word in a Dictionary which neither can be explained in a sentence nor has any perfect synonyms.Today while watching this love story, I could virtually visualize that thought of Rose Franken: "Anyone can be passionate, but it takes real lovers to be silly.." !!
Let me illustrate this journey of 'Raanjhanaa' in the following paragraphs !!

MOVIE: Shot in the blissful backdrop of Benaras & urbanity of Delhi, 'Raanjhanaa' narrates a tale of love through Kundan (Dhanush), Zoya (Sonam Kapoor) & Akram/Jasjeet (Abhay Deol)..Kundan (a Tamil Brahmin boy) & Zoya (a muslim girl) were brought up in Benaras, where Kundan expressed his love for Zoya during his teenage days..After growing up, Zoya took admission in Jawaharlal Nehru University where she fell in love with an university student cum socialist Akram..What happens next ? Is the amorousness of Zoya destined to Kundan or Akram ? How much pain can be endured for the sake of love ?

Let those questions be answered after watching the movie, in silver screen !!

'LIKE's:
1) Cinematography by N. Nataraja Subramanian and Vishal Sinha is astounding + Editing by Hemal Kothari & Choreography by Bosco-Caesar are impressive + Story/Screenplay by Himanshu Sharma is a bit different than an usual romantic drama + Dialogues are extremely witty at many sequences + Acting by the leading & supporting casts are marvelous + Set design by Tariq Umar Khan is befitting + Direction by Anand L. Rai is appreciable !!

2) MUSIC: A big applause to A.R.Rahman for such an wonderful soundtrack (well supported by Irshad Kamil’s catchy lyrics) & appropriate background score..For example,

a) When Kundan showed his anger on Zoya for the first time, there the synthesizer chords fluctuated in a bizarre way to create the effect of displeasure & it was done repeatedly with different chords to break the harmony, so that audience could better relate to the scene.

b) In a gloomy conversation between Kundan & Zoya, where Kundan suddenly felt the ray of hope, he turned up his head towards Zoya..In that split second, Rahman used the rhythm of 'Tabla' in a tricky way to express Kundan's expectation which struck the heart of viewers too !!

3) A SPECIAL MENTION TO :

a) That scene where Zoya was about to leave Benaras by train with teary eyes & Kundan ran to meet her, multiple water patches were shown in the rail station, as if rain just happened, thereby subconsciously magnified the mood of separation since rains are often attributed to a heavy heart..

b) MakeUp Artists for giving Sonam the minimal touch up, which amplified the innocence of a face rather than glamour..Beauty can either flashes the eyes of a beholder like a mid-day sun or soothes the same like a morning dewdrop..Since the latter better suits the character of Zoya, so the lipstick/blusher/eye-shadow even eyeliners were absolutely unnecessary here apart from the marriage scene, where a loud make up was needed & make up experts also did the right job there by painting the line of eye-liner a bit above the corner of eyes + stark red lipstick..

'DISLIKE's: Very few are there, for example;
1) In the song 'Tum Tak', the lip movements of Dhanush were not synchronous with the voice of the playback singer..Looked like, the song was coming from a mike & the actor was just singing on his own..

2) First half was too romantic & at times, the efforts of Kundan to please Zoya looked silly..In Second half, the focus were more on politics, thereby concentration of romance got diluted by leadership activities..

3) Both Dhanush & Sonam looked misfit in the role of school going teenagers + Opening sequence was dull + Too much slapping on Kundan's face by Zoya ultimately invited humor rather than sympathy..That profound scene where Akram's mother was about to touch Kundan's cheek for greeting, I heard some boys laughing crazily behind my seat & saying, "Stop..Stop..No more slapping" !!

MESSAGE: There is a lyrics from the musical 'Cinderella' which says: "Do I love you because you're beautiful, Or, are you beautiful because I love you ?" !! One can easily relate this line to those love struck eyes of Kundan which glitter more than the pole star even in the shadow of Zoya..Of late, Zoya fell in love with Akram, because she considered 'Kundan part' as a childlike crush + Akram fitted the bill as per educational & social qualification..From here, the dilemma of selecting a lover/partner arrives, accompanied by a dialogue where Kundan's friend Murari (M. Z. Ayyub) told him that girls are more likely to marry Doctors/Engineers rather than ordinary boys of the same locality, since the question of love comes secondary to their mind..Obviously material satisfaction plays a vital role in such decisions..But, if an abstract force (love) plays a guest appearance in the same scenario & makes one cherish that pleasure somewhat like this: "To the world you might be one person, but to one person you might be the world", then should not one rise above the narrow parameters set by the society/religions ?

Once Tom Robbins said: “We waste time looking for the perfect lover, instead of creating the perfect love.." !! Life does not give us multiple chances..In this densely populated sphere of Earth, there is always a scarcity of those persons who can sacrifice his/her deepest desires to bring sunshine in the face of their loved ones..Don't let go that kind heart, if by chance you find him/her..

With the mellifluous touch of Shehnai, 'Raanjhanaa' sublimely delivered this tacit message in a pictorial way, making the film worth a watch !!

LAST WORDS: Along with showing the sparkling colors of a Holy city (Benaras), 'Raanjhanaa' tastefully painted a pale color too & thats the color of grey which often stays dormant in human minds and taints the negative aspects of an otherwise blameless person..Don't miss this film, if you believe in those lines of Loretta Young: "Love isn't something you find. Love is something that finds you..."

Absolutely Recommended !!

Shilpa Shukla gone too far in B A Pass

Shilpa Shukla had her share of apprehension before signing up to essay a rather bold character in 'B.A. Pass'. She refuses to call herself a choosy actress. But her filmography suggests otherwise. Shilpa Shukla is best remembered for her rebellious character in Chak De! India.

After a series of minor roles, she'll be next seen in Ajay Bahl's BA Pass in a lead act. The actress of Ladhaki-Tibetan origin is playing a middle-aged woman who seduces a college student. In a frank chat, the 31-year-old shares her thoughts...

AB: Did it bother you that your character was way too bold?
Shilpa: As an actress, you keep asking yourself the question: where do I draw the line? And in my experience, the answer lies within you. It's not about how much you expose in front of the camera - everybody does that anyway. What matters is whether a film is worth pushing the boundaries. As an artiste, I have to take a freefall when a character calls for it.

AB; How do you strike a balance between your professional and personal beliefs?
Shilpa: In real life, I'm a very spiritual person. But the truth is I lost that source of balance after Chak De!. It took me six years to go back to my original position. My job is to portray those who aren't me. People come in different shades - grey, black, white - and I'm not responsible for their existence.

AB: Don't you fear being typecast in this particular character?
Shilpa: I have a very good feeling this time around that a typecast won't happen in my case. Besides, I have an interesting mix in my repertoire and people are bound to take notice of not only this particular role but also the films I've done earlier.

AB: Is it true that you shared creative differences with the director?
Shilpa: What else do you expect? This kind of film hasn't been attempted before, at least not in our country. Besides, the arguments Ajay and I used to have on the sets never pertained to lovemaking scenes. As soon as you step out of your comfort zone, you begin to have creative differences. However, thanks to these discussions, I managed to deliver my best.

Shah Rukh Khan about surrogacy baby

Almost a month after the world began uttering the words surrogacy and Shah Rukh Khan in the same sentence, the actor finally broke his silence on the subject.  At a press conference for his new film Chennai Express, the subject was finally broached and a normally indulgent SRK replied saying, “This is not the right time to talk about it... we are going to get on the train baby and not talk about my baby. This is very private and personal”.
It may be noteworthy that throughout his film promotions so far, SRK has not once uttered a word on the subject of the newest addition to his family. While the Indian Radiological and Imaging Association were up in arms over the supposed sex determination of the Bollywood superstar’s child, it has since come to light that the child was born in May, much before news even broke. In addition to the many stories surrounding King Khan’s third child, news that the infant was to be born in London via a surrogate and would be a British citizen also made headlines. Then came the news that Gauri’s sister-in-law Namita Chibber was the surrogate.
Khan, 47 and his wife Gauri already have two kids Aryan and Suhana. According to information released by the BMC from the birth certificate of the child, it is a boy and his name is Abram, a variation on the name Abraham.
Normally forthcoming with the media, Shah Rukh’s singular comment on the subject thus far was punctuated with this additional news from the star, “There is a mix of sadness and happiness about this news. Let the sad part get over... will talk about it later. I would request the people who are doing the interrogation to do a thorough check,” he said.

SRK's baby mystery finally Revealed

It’s been almost a month since the news of Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan’s third child broke. Along with it came the thunder of a sex determination allegation. Through it all the couple have remained silent and SRK has gone about promoting his film Chennai Express with his usual filmi fervour.

Now according to a new report, that claims to have obtained the birth certificate of the child that lists Shah Rukh Khan and his wife Gaurias the parents. The baby who was born in May, prematurely at 34 weeks was in neo-natal ICUs across two hospitals to ensure he was alright. The infant is supposedly home with the couple now.

The identity of the surrogate mother remains unknown even while speculations abound that it could be Gauri’s sister-in-law Namita Chibber.

Bollywood stars Katrina-Hrithik go social only to promote their films

Some stars seem to have no qualms about logging on to the social media only to promote their own professional causes. Sonu Nigam to do an item number

After the likes of Aamir, Salman and Ranbir Kapoor doing item songs, it's now Sonu Nigam's turn. The singer will apparently get groovy in Akashdeep's upcoming film Santa Banta that stars Neha Dhupia and Vir Das. Says Sonu, 'In the track Machli jal ki rani hai, I play myself. Akashdeep is an old friend and has been trying to convince me for a long time to get back on the screen.'
The singer, who recently shot for the song, started his acting career with Jaani Dushman in 2002. Says Sonu, 'I made a lot of mistakes when I made my debut. I was completely naïve when it came to acting. There was no godfather to guide me.'

Now with his new item number, we hope Sonu's on the right track.
